Leading the second wave of announcements is rising teenage star <strong>Mollie O&#8217;Callaghan<\/strong>, who won seven medals at Commonwealths. Five of thos medals were gold, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/commonwealth-games-mollie-ocallaghan-leads-shayna-jack-emma-mckeon-in-100-freestyle-australian-sweep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">title in the 100-meter freestyle<\/a> that backed up her World Championships crown from June.<\/p>\n<p>O&#8217;Callaghan joins the likes of <strong>Emma McKeon<\/strong> and <strong>Kaylee McKeown<\/strong>, who were named as Duel in the Pool competitors during Swimming Australia&#8217;s initial announcement. Along with O&#8221;Callaghan, the second wave includes Commonwealth Games medalists <strong>Shayna Jack<\/strong>, <strong>Jenna Strauch<\/strong>, <strong>Lani Pallister<\/strong>, <strong>Sam Williamson<\/strong>, <strong>Brad Woodward<\/strong> and <strong>Mitch Larkin<\/strong>. <strong>Cody Simpson<\/strong> will also suit up for the Dolphins when they race against the United States at the Sydney Aquatics Centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ellie Cole<\/strong> and <strong>Matt Levy<\/strong>, who have enjoyed sterling Paralympic careers and will soon retire, have also been selected to compete.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur athletes relish every chance to wear the Gold cap, as most recently shown by the outstanding results in Birmingham,\u201d said National Team coach <strong>Rohan Taylor<\/strong> said.\u00a0\u201cAny Australian team you make is special, but when presented with the opportunity to face our greatest rival in front of a home crowd, I know these athletes will step up to the challenge. Pressure is a privilege, and it is one we embrace. This team is a wonderful mix of generational stars and those forging a path right on their heels and I\u2019d encourage our fans to ensure they are there to witness first hand some of the best
