NEW COMMIT:<\/strong> The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill has received a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2023 from Junior National qualifier Logan Richards of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He will join <\/span>Ben Delmar<\/a><\/strong> and <\/span>Tucker Valliere<\/b><\/a> in Chapel Hill as a member of the Class of 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

He told <\/span>Swimming World:<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cI am very excited and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill!! I\u2019d like to thank my family, friends, and most importantly my coaches. Go Tar Heels!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A solid mid-distance and distance freestyler, Richards currently swims unattached, having most recently competed for Phoenixville Branch YMCA. He was the runner-up in the 1000 free at YMCA Short Course Nationals back in the spring, also placing eighth in the 500 free. More recently, he competed at Middle Atlantic LCM Seniors where he earned one lifetime best.<\/span><\/p>\n
