Thank you to my amazing family, teammates, and friends for supporting me over the years. Also, a big thank you to Coach Rick, Pat, and Tyler for encouraging me and getting me to where I am today!! Thank you to Coach Sergio and Jacy for giving me this wonderful opportunity! GO HOKIES&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A talented mid-distance freestyler and IMer, Starnes does her club swimming with SwimAtlanta and most recently competed at the Bahamas National Championships where she earned two best times. She had a strong showing at the Mizuno Atlanta Classic back in May, also earning bronze in the 1000 free at Cary Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:53.88<\/li>\n<li>1000 free &#8211; 10:05.12<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:05.74<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:23.44<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A rising senior at Walton High School, Starnes was the runner-up in both the 200 IM and 500 free at the 2022 Georgia 7A State Championship.
