The University of Florida women’s swimming and diving team officially announced the addition of Nina Kucheran<\/strong> on Wednesday as a transfer.<\/p>\n

The Sudbury, Ontario (Canada) native made the move to Gainesville following four years at Florida State University, where she holds four school records \u2014 200 IM 1:56.68; 200 Breast 2:08.57, 200 medley relay 1:35.40, 400 medley relay – 3:31.96.<\/p>\n

At the 2022 NCAA Championships, Nina Kucheran finished 22nd in the 100 breast, 28th in the 200 breast, and 31st in the 200 IM. She also qualified for the NCAA Championships in 2019 and 2020. She also finished fourth in the 200 breast and sixth in the 100 breast at the 2021 Canadian Olympic Trials, and was a member of the Canadian junior national team in 2018.<\/p>\n

Kucheran was on the bronze medal 4×100 relay at the World University Games and in 2019 she was the ACC runner-up in the 200 breaststroke.<\/p>\n
