The deadline to apply to participate is July 21, 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">In the inaugural year of the program, <b>100% of the participants said they would recommend this supportive and inspiring program to a colleague or friend.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Here\u2019s what some participants said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\"><i>\u201cThis mentor program meant the world to me. I now have confidence in my coaching and the ability to help kids get to college swimming. Thank you ASCA for everything you\u2019ve done to create this program! I loved it so much!\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\"><i>Coach Jodie Jordan, East Carolina Aquatics<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p7\"><i>\u201cThe ASCA Mentor Program introduced me to coaches from across the country that I would not normally cross paths with. I have developed friendships and a\u00a0great network of coaches who I can bounce ideas off of at a moment&#8217;s notice. I will be in touch with the members of my Mentor Triad long after this year&#8217;s program is over.<\/i><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\"><i>Coach Dan Mascolo, Head Swim Coach, Y-Spartaquatics Swim Club (YSSC-SC)<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p7\"><i>\u201cThe best part of this program is having coaches to discuss issues with that I don&#8217;t normally get to work with. From a mental health perspective, it is nice to talk about issues while not on deck.\u201d\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p10\"><i>Coach Brian Botzman, United Aquatics Club<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p7\"><i>\u201cIt was nice having a set time each month to take a break from the rigors of daily coaching to chat with others. Our group members experienced highs and lows over the course of the past year, and we helped each other out.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p10\"><i>Coach Chris Marshall, Marist School Swim Team<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p7\"><i>\u201cI enjoyed getting to know some of the younger coaches in ASCA and being able to maybe help them avoid some of the pitfalls of coaching swimming.
