NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill has received a new in-state verbal commitment for Fall 2023 from Ben Delmar\u00a0<\/strong>of Charlotte, N.C.<\/p>\n

He will join fellow in-stater Tucker Valliere<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Chapel Hill as a member of the Class of 2027.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just really excited to join a team that can improve to be one of the best!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Delmar raced to 15th in the 200m breast in a personal best at the International Team Trials, earning him a spot on Team USA for the Junior Pan Pacific Championships from August 24-27 in Honolulu, Hawaii.<\/p>\n

Training year-round with SwimMAC Carolina, Delmar won the B-final of the 200 breast at Juniors East in December and earned bronze in the 200m breast at Indianapolis Sectionals in March. He also had a stellar showing at the Speedo Southern Premier, recording best times in all of his events.<\/p>\n
