I knew it was the right choice for me after my official visit. I fell in love with the team, the coaches, and the school. I cannot wait to continue my academic and athletic career at Harvard. I want to thank my coaches, family, and friends who supported me during this process. Go Crimson!!\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Wilhelm does her club swimming with Life Time Swim Team and placed 11th in the 100m fly and 15th in the 200m back at the Phillips 66 International Team Trials last month. She won four events at Cary Sectionals in March and took sixth in the 200 IM at Juniors East in December.<\/p>\n<p>A rising senior at Myers Park High School, Wilhelm won the 200 IM and was the 100 back runner-up at the 2022 North Carolina 4A State Championships. She collected silver in both of those events during her sophomore season, also winning the 100 fly in her rookie campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 51.07<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 1:52.54<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:55.78<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 52.47<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 1:52.71<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 49.33<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:45.98<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wilhelm is a huge pickup for Harvard, as she would&#8217;ve been its top swimmer last year in the 100\/200 fly, 100\/200 back, 100 free and 200 IM. She even would&#8217;ve been the No. 1 swimmer in the Ivy League in the 100\/200 fly, 200 back and 200 IM a season ago.<\/p>\n<p>She also would&#8217;ve scored in the A-final of the 200 fly as well as the B-final of the 100 fly, 200 IM and 200 back at the 2022 NCAA Championships.<\/p>\n<p><em>*IVY LEAGUE\u00a0DISCLAIMER:* A \u201cverbal commitment\u201d does not\u00a0guarantee\u00a0admission.
