Greensboro Aquatic Center to Host 2023 ACC Championships<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The ACC Championships are returning to the Greensboro Aquatic Center.<\/p>\n

The ACC announced on Twitter on Thursday the sites of all its championships for the 2022-23 school year. Men’s and women’s swimming will be combined and at the GAC Feb. 14-18, 2023.<\/p>\n

The GAC has hosted many major events the past few years<\/a> and still has more already on the schedule. In the past couple of years, the venue has hosted the NCAA Championships, U.S. Open, the Paralympic nationals Speedo Winter Junior Championships as well as some elite college and diving meets and the YMCA Championships.<\/p>\n

Located on the campus of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the GAC<\/a> debuted in August, 2011 and has evolved into the largest indoor aquatic center in the country. Built at a cost of nearly $19 million, the multi-purpose, four-pool facility has compiled an impressive event resume including numerous USA Swimming, U.S Masters Swimming, USA Diving, USA Synchro, YMCA and NCAA national championship events.<\/p>\n

The economic impact of these and other events has been an enormous boon to the Greensboro economy.
