Adam Peaty Dives Deep Into Injury and Career on Inside With Brett Hawke Podcast<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the most disappointing pieces of news from the sport from the past week was the announcement that Adam Peaty<\/strong> will miss this summer\u2019s World Championships in Budapest due to injury. During a dryland workout, Peaty endured a broken bone in his right foot<\/a>, a fracture that will prevent the British star from chasing fourth consecutive titles in the 50-meter breaststroke and 100 breaststroke.<\/p>\n

While dealing with the aftermath of the injury and designing a gameplan to get back to action when that moment is possible, Peaty took time to sit down with an interview on the Inside With Brett Hawke Podcast<\/strong>. For nearly an hour, Peaty chatted with the two-time Olympic host, whose show has become can\u2019t-miss content. Peaty\u2019s injury occupies the beginning of the interview, as would be expected, and is filled with tremendous detail.<\/p>\n

Peaty spoke with Hawke about the emotional impact of the injury, including the \u201craw\u201d sting of dealing with the situation.
