Wattel had qualified swiftest in 25.26, 0.02 ahead of Melanie Henique<\/strong> who stamped her Budapest ticket on Saturday evening in the 50 fly.<\/p>\n
Wattel claimed the 100 fly earlier in the meet and she stamped her authority on the sprint freestyle with victory over Henique by 0.18 as she claimed the second spot in 25.00, inside the Fina A cut.<\/p>\n
Charlotte Bonnet<\/strong> was third in 25.05 having already booked her ticket to Budapest.<\/p>\n
Mewen Tomac<\/strong> concluded a successful meet with a second gold, this time in the sprint backstroke which he won in 24.89 to add to his 200 victory in a world-leading time and book this third individual berth in Budapest.<\/p>\n
Kai van Westering<\/strong> was second in 25.32 with 100 champion Yohann Ndoye Brouard <\/strong>rounding out the podium in 25.44.<\/p>\n
Emilien Mattenet<\/strong> was inside the FINA A cut in the men’s 400IM in 4:16.37 while\u00a0Cyrielle Duhamel<\/strong> won the women’s race but her time of 4:47.23 was outside the standard for Budapest.<\/p>\n
Damien Joly<\/strong> was inside the cut for Budapest in the 1500 free in 15:02.69.<\/p>\n
Florine Gaspard<\/strong> of Belgium won the women’s 50br in 31.17 with Justine Delmas<\/strong> the first Frenchwoman home but her time of 31.72 was outside the cut.<\/p>\n
