Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sv-nikar.de\/index.php?id=767&amp;no_cache=1\">Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The double Olympic silver medallist went 58.68 in the 100m breaststroke heats &#8211; splitting 27.48\/31.20 &#8211;\u00a0 before returning to touch first in the final in 58.85.<\/p>\n<p>Kamminga tops the world rankings with a time of 58.52 from the <strong>Eindhoven Meet<\/strong> in February, the Netherlands swimmer the only man to have cracked 59 so far this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> went 59.05 at the Pro Swim Series in March to sit second although this week promises some intriguing action with Olympic champion <strong>Adam Peaty<\/strong> going in the British Championships and bronze medallist <strong>Nicolo Martinenghi<\/strong> in the Italian equivalent while the <strong>Eindhoven Qualification Meet<\/strong> starts on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Kamminga went 2:08.22 in the 200br prelims and 2:08.83\u00a0 in the final with the former the third-fastest time of 2022 so far.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arno Kamminga &#8211; the man who loves to race &#8211; twice more went sub-59 over 100m breaststroke at the weekend at the 2022 Heidelberg Q!
