She started by setting the pace in the 200 fly in 2:11.15, a race where the top eight were separated by eight tenths. In second was <strong>Dakota Luther,<\/strong> followed by <strong>Emma Sticklen<\/strong> and <strong>Kelly Pash.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.swmeets.com\/Realtime\/Pro%20Series\/2022\/San%20Antonio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TYR Pro Swim Series Live Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/leah-smith-pops-strong-performance-en-route-to-victory-in-800-freestyle-at-tyr-pro-series-san-antonio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Night 1 Finals<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/tyr-pro-swim-series-shaine-casas-goes-51-1-in-100-fly-prelims\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Day 2 Prelims<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/tyr-pro-series-shaine-casas-blasts-impressive-effort-in-100-butterfly-michael-andrew-goes-59-low-in-100-breast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Night 2 Men&#8217;s Finals<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/tyr-pro-series-katie-ledecky-fires-off-155-marker-on-way-to-title-in-200-freestyle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Night 2 Women&#8217;s Finals<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Texas\u2019s <strong>Anna Elendt<\/strong> continued a strong week by taking the top seed in the 200 breaststroke. She went 2:25.98, a best time that gets her within a second of the German record in the event (2:25.00, by <strong>Jessica Steiger<\/strong> in 2017). Elendt has already downed the German 100 meter record this week.<\/p>\n<p>Second in the morning was <strong>Lilly King,<\/strong> fresh off tying the PSS record in the 100 breast, with a time of 2:27.68. <strong>Annie Lazor<\/strong> was third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Claire Curzan<\/strong> led the way in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.04. She\u2019s followed by <strong>Erika Brown, Natalie Hinds<\/strong> and <strong>Mallory Comerford,<\/strong> all within four tenths.<\/p>\n<p>Curzan also took the top seed in the 100 backstroke, going 1:00.24 in prelims. The A final is stacked with Olympians, with <strong>Rhyan White<\/strong> second in 1:00.97 and <strong>Phoebe Bacon<\/strong> and <strong>Olivier Smoliga<\/strong> tied for third in 1:01.27. <strong>Beata Nelson<\/strong> and <strong>Gabby DeLoof<\/strong> also made the A final.<\/p>\n<p>On the men\u2019s side, <strong>Chase Kalisz<\/strong> had a busy morning session. He went 1:59.99 to grab the top seed in the 200 butterfly, then finished second in the 200 breast in a season-best 2:14.40. <strong>Leon Marchand<\/strong> took the top seed in the latter event in 2:11.71.<\/p>\n<p>The top seed in the 50 free went to <strong>David Curtiss,<\/strong> the NC State freshman clocking in at 22.13. <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> was second in 22.29, with <strong>Caeleb Dressel<\/strong> going 22.40.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shaine Casas<\/strong> and <strong>Coleman Stewart<\/strong> have a 100 back duel set up for Friday night. Casas was quickest in prelims at 55.35, .09 up on Stewart. <strong>Sam Stewart<\/strong> is the third seed in 55.75.
