That will be the International Team Trials in Greensboro, N.C., scheduled for April 26-30. The last major tune-up meet for Trials will begin this Wednesday with the TYR Pro Swim Series in San Antonio, just the second stop of this year&#8217;s Pro Series after Westmont, Ill., earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2022-tyr-pro-swim-series-san-antonio-psych-sheet-usa-senior-national-2022-03-30.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to view the full heat sheet for San Antonio<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many of the top American professional swimmers will be racing in San Antonio, including 2021 individual Olympic gold medalists\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Chase Kalisz<\/strong>. Dressel is entered in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle along with the 100 butterfly and 200 IM, while Ledecky is skipping the 800 and 1500 free this week to focus on the 100, 200 and 400-meter events. Kalisz, meanwhile, is not entered in the 400 IM, but he will swim the 100 and 200 breaststroke, the 100 and 200 butterfly and the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the stars of the recent NCAA Championships will be sitting this one out as they return to training and switch their focus to long course, but two winners from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/ncaa-college-swimming-championships-2022-men-di\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last week&#8217;s men&#8217;s meet<\/a> will be racing: Arizona State star\u00a0<strong>Leon Marchand<\/strong> is set for the 200s of free, fly, breast and IM along with the 400 IM, and Texas&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong> is on the psych sheet for the 50, 100 and 200 free. The top swimmers competing just weeks after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2022-ncaa-college-swimming-championships-women-di\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the women&#8217;s championships<\/a> include Alabama&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rhyan White<\/strong> and Texas&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Anna Elendt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The list of U.S. Olympians from 2016 and\/or 2021 set to race includes <strong>Lilly<\/strong> <strong>King<\/strong>, <strong>Hali Flickinger<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Olivia Smoliga<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Annie Lazor<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Bella Sims<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Erika Brown<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kathleen Baker<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Melanie Margalis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Leah Smith<\/strong>, <strong>Paige Madden<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kelsi Dahlia<\/strong>, <strong>Phoebe Bacon<\/strong>\u00a0and teenager\u00a0<strong>Claire Curzan<\/strong>, who scored four individual victories in Westmont. Olympians on the men&#8217;s side include <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zach Apple<\/strong>, <strong>Nic<\/strong> <strong>Fink<\/strong>, <strong>Jay Litherland<\/strong>, <strong>Ryan Held<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Bowe Becker<\/strong>, while short-course world champion <strong>Shaine Casas<\/strong> and short course world-record holder <strong>Coleman Stewart<\/strong> are also entered.<\/p>\n<p>Of note, this year&#8217;s Pro Swim Series will be held at the Northside ISD Swim Center, the outdoor complex that previously hosted the 2015 U.S. National Championships, a meet best remembered for <strong>Michael Phelps<\/strong> swimming the fastest time in the world in three events while the World Championships were ongoing on the other side of the world.
