The Ladies finished the session the same way, with a similarly scintillating 400 medley relay that has them up on Denison in the team competition by a minuscule margin of 2.5 points.

The most pitched battle on the men’s side may be for second place, with Emory consolidating its lead on Day 2. A Dylan Regan anchor leg of 19.44 backed it convincingly.

That forced a split of the points with Emory, which needed every bit of Nicholas Goudie’s 19.31 to halve the points at second. Both Rowan and Emory clocked in at 1:19.56.
