Carozza\u2019s prelims time is already more than two seconds clear of the winning time from last year, a 54.46 by Drury\u2019s <strong>Kasia Rogowska.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Carozza is the top seed by .72 seconds of Lynn\u2019s <strong>Luna Mertins. Teammate <strong>Andrea Gomez Espinosa<\/strong> is fourth. Nova Southeastern had two top-five finishers, led by <strong>May Lowy<\/strong> in second. <strong>Bec Cross<\/strong> of Drury is third.<\/p>\n<p>Queens\u2019 <strong>Monica Gumina<\/strong> is the pacesetter in the 200 free, in 1:47.00, almost two seconds clear of the field. Indy got into second via <strong>Krystal Caylor,<\/strong> with another half-second back to Simon Fraser\u2019s <strong>Tori Meklensek.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Queens\u2019 freestyle prowess has the men in good position to defend their lead for at least another day. The Royals have three of the top four seeds, led by <strong>Alex Kunert\u2019s<\/strong> 1:35.17. Second is <strong>Skyler Cook-Weeks<\/strong> (1:35.61), .01 up on Lewis\u2019 <strong>Ruben van Leeuwen. Balazs Berecz<\/strong> of Queens earned the fourth seed.<\/p>\n<p>Queens also has three A finalists in the 400 IM, though none higher than <strong>Mohamed Hegazy<\/strong> in fourth. <strong>Collyn Gagne<\/strong> of Simon Fraser set the pace with a time of 3:48.14. Indy\u2019s <strong>Cedric Buessing<\/strong> and Nova Southeastern\u2019s <strong>Jarryd Baxter<\/strong> also cracked 3:50.<\/p>\n<p>Drury\u2019s <strong>Dominick Karacic<\/strong> set the pace in the 100 fly, going 46.58. The eight finalists are clustered within six tenths, though, with Findlay\u2019s duo of <strong>Camilo Marrugo Montano<\/strong> and <strong>Tom Stollings<\/strong> also under 47 seconds along with third seed <strong>Kael Yorke<\/strong> of Indy.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday\u2019s finals session includes women\u2019s 3-meter diving and the medley
