Facilities include the highest collegiate pool in the country, a state-of-the-art weight room, and private locker rooms.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/addy-rau-of-sandpipers-of-nevada-selects-western-colorado-university\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">university<\/a> is situated in a high alpine valley which makes it ideal for high altitude training.\u00a0 Each athlete will receive a High Altitude Training T-shirt and cap. Additionally, meals will be provided &amp; athletes will be lodged in the college dorm rooms.\u00a0 All attendees will get to meet and work with collegiate athletes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Camp Activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Challenging in-water training<\/li>\n<li>Four hours a day with head coach Vickie Fellows, WCU coaching staff, and current collegiate swimmers<\/li>\n<li>Underwater filming and technique analysis<\/li>\n<li>Low camper to staff ratio<\/li>\n<li>Day hikes in the beautiful mountains surrounding the Gunnison Valley<\/li>\n<li>Dryland and weight room sessions<\/li>\n<li>Guest Speakers<\/li>\n<li>White water rafting trip (additional fee of $49 paid to the rafting company)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camps will focus on teaching, refining, and reinforcing elite swimming techniques as well as aerobic-based training at high elevation.\u00a0 Swimmers will walk away with a deeper understanding of their strokes as well as their starts, turns, and finishes. She coaches over 150 athletes in a complex range of strokes and abilities. Ninety-eight percent of her graduates went on and swam at the collegiate level spanning every division all across the country.<\/p>\n<p>On top of owning, managing and coaching the Vipers of Albuquerque Swim Team, she was also the head coach of the Cibola High School swim team form\u00a02018-21. Vickie also owns multiple businesses in Albuquerque and Taos Ski Valley.<\/p>\n<p>She is a\u00a0ASCA Certified Level 3 USA Swim Coach who is dedicated to her athletes, hardworking, motivating,<br
