That would be enough to unseat Ohio State from atop the standings by the end of Night 3 of 4 at Big Tens, and it sets up a thrilling final day.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of thrilling, the two teams vying for the team title ended up going toe-to-toe in the race of the night. University of Minnesota           404<\/pre>\n<h4>100 butterfly<\/h4>\n<p>In the morning, Indiana\u2019s <strong>Bruno Blaskovic<\/strong> set a pool record and grabbed the top seed.<\/p>\n<p>In the evening, Blaskovic was eighth in the A final with five swimmers quicker than his morning time.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the kind of chaos you want to start a night session off with.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alex Quach<\/strong> took the early initiative and led wire to wire with a time of 44.74. In addition to swiping Blaskovic\u2019s pool mark, Quach took down the Big Ten Championships record set by Indiana\u2019s <strong>Vini Lanza<\/strong> in 2018. Second was <strong>Tomer Frankel<\/strong> of Indiana, who reclaimed three tenths on the final 25 yards but came up .07 shy in 44.81. It wasn\u2019t enough to overhaul teammate <strong>Jared Daigle,<\/strong> who won in 3:41.01. McHugh&#8217;s time was just off his season-best time of 50.58, which ranks him first in the country as he aims for another national title in his senior campaign.<\/p>\n<p>McHugh was followed closely by a pair of Indiana swimmers,\u00a0<strong>Kevin Houseman<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Josh Matheny<\/strong>. Burns touched in 44.31, moving ahead of Armstrong&#8217;s relay leadoff time of 44.36 as the top time in the nation so far this season. Burns also broke the Big Ten record that Armstrong had set the previous night.<\/p>\n<p>Armstrong ended up second here in 44.78, while Indiana continued its strong run with\u00a0<strong>Gabriel Fantoni\u00a0<\/strong>(45.05) and\u00a0<strong>Jacob Steele<\/strong> (45.66) taking third and fourth, respectively. That may be a shock, but the Olympian and two-time Big Ten Diver of the Year has only finished fourth, second and third in his signature event.<\/p>\n<p>Well, that narrative is gone thanks to a score of 467.75 that bested the field by nearly 16 points. Second was Purdue\u2019s <strong>Jordan Rzepka,<\/strong> just .50 up on Indiana\u2019s <strong>Quinn Henninger.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That should give the Hoosiers a massive edge, right? Add in <strong>Carson Tyler<\/strong> in fifth and hey that\u2019s 84 points. But look further down and Ohio State stuffed the B final with divers in eighth, ninth, 10th, 13th, 14th and 15th. That\u2019s also an NCAA A cut. <strong>Sem Andreis, Alex Quach<\/strong> and <strong>Ruslan Gaziev f<\/strong>ollowed Armstrong\u2019s lead, winning by a clear half-second.<\/p>\n<p>Indiana (<strong>Bruno Blaskovic, Jack Franzman, Rafael Miroslaw, Van Mathias<\/strong>) were second in 1:15.81, also an A cut. Prudue added an A cut in third in 1:16.85, as did fourth-place Michigan.<\/p>\n<pre><b>Event 14  Men 200 Yard Freestyle
