Here is a closer look at each meet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pac-12 Women\u2019s Championship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2022-pac-12-womens-championships-psych-sheet\/ncaa-college\/2022\/February\/22?rtn=%2Fresults%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psych sheet<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This NCAA Power 5 meet is normally a Stanford-Cal showdown and that will be the case again this year in Federal Way, Washington, though the Cardinal will be heavily favored. USC also has an improved group that could get into the mix, perhaps not in the team race, but will have some strong relays and individual performers as will Arizona State.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford had to decide where to put several swimmers event-wise, and one will be a showdown between two teammates as both <strong>Torri Huske<\/strong> and <strong>Regan Smith a<\/strong>re entered in the 100 butterfly at least as of the pre-scratch sheets.<\/p>\n<p>Smith is entered in the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke and 200 butterfly. Huske will swim the 100 butterfly, 100 free and 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 IM will be an interesting race as Huske will battle Cal\u2019s <strong>Isabel Ivey<\/strong> and USC\u2019s <strong>Calypso Sheridan<\/strong> and <strong>Isabelle Odgers<\/strong>. In the 100 free, Huske will be chased by Ivey and USC\u2019s<strong> Laticia Transom<\/strong> and <strong>Anicka Delgado<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a strong showdown in the 500 freestyle between Arizona State senior<strong> Emma Nordin<\/strong> and Stanford senior <strong>Brooke Forde<\/strong>. Forde also could have an interesting 400 IM race with Cal\u2019s<strong> Alicia Wilson<\/strong> and USC\u2019s Sheridan.<\/p>\n<p>Smith will face<strong> Isabelle Stadden<\/strong> in the 100 backstroke, while Stadden and Stanford&#8217;s <strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong> could have a good showdown in the 200 back.<\/p>\n<p>USC\u2019s <strong>Kaitlyn Dobler<\/strong> leads the breaststroke events.<\/p>\n<p>Sheridan, Forde and Ivey are all on the psych sheet in more event than they can compete and will have to make some decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Big Ten Men\u2019s Championships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/sidearmstats.com\/purdue\/swimming\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Live Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Michigan men have won the past two Big Ten titles and are looking for a three-peat in this NCAA Power 5 conference.<\/p>\n<p>But Indiana is right on the Wolverines\u2019 heels and it could make for a stellar team battle this week at Purdue.<\/p>\n<p>The Wolverines are led by Tokyo Olympians <strong>Jake Mitchell<\/strong> and <strong>Patrick Callan<\/strong>. Mitchell won the Big Ten title in the 500 freestyle, while the Wolverines will also look to defend in the 200 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<p>The Wolverines will be competing for their 43rd team title, the most of any program in the Big Ten. Last year\u2019s title saw Michigan come back from a 26.5-point deficit heading into the final day to overtake Indiana and hold off Ohio State.<\/p>\n<p>The Hoosiers won nine events last year and will look for a similar performance to knock off the Wolverines and hold off Ohio State and the rest of the field.<\/p>\n<p>All of the championship sessions will be streamed live on B1G+.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Big 12 Championships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The other NCAA Power 5 meet this week is the Big 12.
