HUNGARY&#8217;s David Verraszto, a 2012 Olympian, left the rest of the field in the dust during the breaststroke leg at the Arena Grand Prix in the 400 IM, then powered his way to victory with a 4:16.03 for the win in the event. That swim jumped him to third in the world, behind only Kosuke Hagino (4:09.82) and Daiya Seto (4:13.60), but several seconds ahead of the field.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s Verraszto splits to see for yourself:<\/p>\n<p>1 *Verraszto, David 25 Hungary 4:20.53 4:16.03<br \/>\n28.10 59.52 (31.42)<br \/>\n1:32.41 (32.89) 2:05.39 (32.98)<br \/>\n2:40.18 (34.79) 3:16.06 (35.88)<br \/>\n3:46.75 (30.69) 4:16.03 (29.28)<\/p>\n<p>Club Wolverine&#8217;s Tyler Clary, on the rebound from a back injury that scuttled his schedule at the Austin stop of the Arena Grand Prix, placed second in 4:20.70. Wisconsin&#8217;s Michael Weiss, meanwhile, checked in with a third-place time of 4:23.67.<\/p>\n<p>Wilton Y&#8217;s Ian Rainey checked in with a 4:25.93 for fourth overall, while Hungary&#8217;s David Folhazi placed fifth in 4:26.41.
