Championship kicked continued on Thursday in Madison, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>The first prelims session of the meet began with the 500 freestyle, then the 200 IM and 50 freestyle before 1-meter diving.<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State entered the day with the lead after winning both relays on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/big-ten-womens-championships-day-1-ohio-state-takes-early-lead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Day 1 Recap<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/upload.swimcloud.com\/204447\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Live Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Big Ten Women\u2019s 500 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin freshman <strong>Paige McKenna<\/strong> took the top seed in the 500 freestyle, touching the wall in 4:40.31, just ahead of Northwestern sophomore<strong> Lola Mull,<\/strong> who finished in 4:40.80.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan sophomore<strong> Kathryn Ackerman<\/strong> was not far off the pace, finishing in 4:41.88 to take the third seed, followed by Indiana freshman<strong> Ching Hwee Gan<\/strong> (4:42.96).<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State landed one in the top eight as<strong> Maya Geringer<\/strong> took the fifth seed (4:43.09), followed by Indiana freshman <strong>Mariah<\/strong> <strong>Denigan<\/strong> (4:43.16), Wisconsin freshman <strong>Abby Carlson<\/strong> (4:44.55) and Indiana sophomore <strong>Ella Ristic<\/strong> (4:44.72).<\/p>\n<p>Half of the finalists are seed time to take the top spot in the 200 IM. She touched the wall in 1:55.87 by building a lead and having enough in the tank for a 27 final split, second fastest in the top eight.<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State fifth-year <strong>Kristen Romano<\/strong> took the second seed in 1:55.93, followed by Indiana senior <strong>Noelle Peplowski<\/strong> (1:55.96).<\/p>\n<p>Michigan senior <strong>Olivia Carter<\/strong> wasn\u2019t far behind at 1:56.07 thanks to her 27.38 final split, which was the fastest final split among the top eight.<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin sophomore <strong>Phoebe Bacon<\/strong> took the fifth seed (1:56.41) followed by Indiana senior <strong>Mackenzie Looze<\/strong> (1:56.72), Wisconsin\u2019s<strong> Jenna Silvestri<\/strong> (1:57.04) and Michigan senior<strong> Victoria Kwan<\/strong> (1:57.30).<\/p>\n<pre><b>Event 4  Women 200 Yard IM<\/b>\r\n==================================================================\r\n     B1G Meet: !
