{"id":496730,"date":"2022-02-09T05:10:31","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T12:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=496730"},"modified":"2022-02-09T05:10:31","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T12:10:31","slug":"rob-woodhouse-steps-down-as-general-manager-of-london-roar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/rob-woodhouse-steps-down-as-general-manager-of-london-roar\/","title":{"rendered":"Rob Woodhouse Steps Down As General Manager Of London Roar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rob Woodhouse<\/strong> has stepped down as general manager of <strong>London Roar<\/strong> after guiding the team through the first three seasons of the <strong>International Swimming League<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian, who won bronze in the 400IM at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, announced his decision on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>It comes less than a fortnight after the ISL, launched by <strong>Konstantin Grigorishin<\/strong> in early 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/isl-announces-season-4-schedule-kicking-off-in-north-america\/\/\">announced the format of Season 4<\/a> which will run for almost seven months from June.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/isl-season-4-will-see-swimmers-choose-status-as-pro-or-semi-pro-prize-money-pool-at-13m\/\/\">the league revealed new changes to the athlete status,<\/a> key being the introduction of two categories of swimmers &#8211;
