Auburn\u2019s Meghan Lee, Florida\u2019s Leah Braswell Share SEC Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

Auburn\u2019s Meghan Lee<\/strong> and Leah Braswell<\/strong> of Florida are the co-women\u2019s swimmers of the week in the latest SEC Weekly honors, announced Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Auburn and Florida both cleaned up on the awards. The Tigers\u2019 Mikkel Gadgaard<\/strong> is the men\u2019s swimmer of the week, with Avery Bargeron<\/strong> as the freshman of the week. Elizabeth Perez<\/strong> represented the Gators as the co-women\u2019s diver of the week, with Joaquin Gonzalez Pinero<\/strong> the men\u2019s freshman of the week.<\/p>\n

The other two honors went to Texas A&M divers, with Kurtis Mathews<\/strong> on the men\u2019s side and Aimee Wilson<\/strong> sharing the women\u2019s honor with Perez.<\/p>\n

Auburn and Florida did their damage at the Auburn Invitational<\/a>. Gadgaard won the 200 freestyle and 500 free in NCAA B cuts. The Danish swimmer moved into sixth in program history in the 200 free (1:34.12) and fifth in the SEC this season in the 500 free (4:16.30).<\/p>\n

Pinero won the 200 butterfly (1:45.03) and 200 individual medley (1:46.56) at the Auburn Invitational. The Argentine swimmers also placed third in the 400 IM.<\/p>\n
