Texas Women, TCU Men Sweep Big 12 Weekly Honors<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Texas women\u2019s squad and TCU men swept the six awards given out in the latest batch of Big 12 weekly honors on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anna Elendt<\/strong> was named the swimmer of the week, joined by Longhorn diver Hailey Hernandez<\/strong> and newcomer Erica Sullivan.<\/strong> On the men\u2019s side, Dusan Babic<\/strong> took home swimmer of the week for the Horned Frogs. David Ekdahl<\/strong> was the top diver, while Jadon Wuilliez<\/strong> was the top newcomer.<\/p>\n

Texas spent the weekend on a road swing through North Carolina, topping NC State<\/a> and the University of North Carolina<\/a>. Elendt set an NC State pool record in the women\u2019s 100 breaststroke at 59.25 seconds, then did the same at UNC in 58.08. The German also won the 200 breast against NC State and was part of the winning 200 medley relay against UNC. It\u2019s Elendt\u2019s third Big 12 Swimmer of the Week honor.<\/p>\n
