Arkansas also beat Tulane 218.5-79.5, while Georgia Tech beat the Green Wave 237-63.<\/p>\n<p>Arkansas was led by a trio of women who finished first in two individual events each: <strong>Bella Cothern<\/strong> in the 50 free (22.52) and 100 free (50.33),\u00a0<strong>Vanessa Herrman<\/strong><strong>n\u00a0<\/strong>in the 100 breast (1:01.07) and 200 breast (2:13.58) and\u00a0<strong>Andrea Sansores<\/strong> in the 100 fly (54.08) and 100 back (53.65).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college news<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For Georgia Tech,\u00a0<strong>McKenzie Campbell<\/strong> won the 200 IM (1:59.79) and 200 fly (1:56.92), while\u00a0<strong>Brooke Switzer<\/strong> finished on top in the 200 free (1:47.31) and 500 free (4:54.61).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ramblinwreck.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/results-gt-vs-tulane-vs-arkansas-1-28-22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Full results from the meet are available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Read the full press release from Arkansas below:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Arkansas swimming and diving earned two wins against Georgia Tech and Tulane. The Razorbacks beat Tulane 218.5-79.5. In addition, Razorbacks defeated Georgia Tech by a score of 154-146. Sophomore <strong>Bella Cothern<\/strong> and senior <strong>Andrea Sansores<\/strong> both had four overall wins on the day while senior <strong>Vanessa Herrmann<\/strong> and senior <strong>Kobie Melton<\/strong> both had three wins on the day.<\/p>\n<p>Hog Highlights<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cothern had four overall wins in 200 medley relay, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay.<\/li>\n<li>Herrmann had three wins in the 200 medley relay, 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke.<\/li>\n<li>Sansores had four wins overall wins in 200 medley relay, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke and 400 freestyle relay.<\/li>\n<li>Melton had three wins in the events of 200 medley Relay, 200 backstroke and 400 freestyle relay.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mayson Richards<\/strong> had personal bests in 3-meter dive with a 324.20 and a win.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Read the full press release from Georgia Tech below:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Georgia Tech swimming and diving saw a program record fall on Friday when <strong>McKenzie<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Campbell<\/strong> swam the 200 IM in 1:59.79 beating the prior mark set in 2017 of 1:59.88.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell now holds both women\u2019s IM records and also holds the 200 fly program record. Campbell\u2019s time was also good for a B cut in the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was really excited to race with my teammates, <strong>Clarissa<\/strong> [<strong>Sabin<\/strong>] and <strong>Lily<\/strong> [<strong>Burke<\/strong>]. Going into the 200 IM we knew it was going to be a really tight meet so I knew I had to have my best race,\u201d Campbell said.<\/p>\n<p>Competing at the meet were Arkansas and Tulane. Tech beat Tulane 237-63 but fell to Arkansas 154-146.<\/p>\n<p>The Yellow Jackets had many event wins on the day. Campbell\u2019s 200 IM time won that event and she also took home first in the 200 fly (1:56.92), <strong>Camryn Hidalgo<\/strong> finished first on 1-meter board (304.85) and <strong>Brooke Switzer<\/strong> touched first in the 200 free (1:47.31) and 500 free (4:54.61).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve had a couple of really hard weeks of training and getting back into school. We were going into this thinking \u2018Let\u2019s have some fun and see what we can do.\u2019 All of us suiting up brought a new type of energy. Combing everything and seeing what will happen made it a lot of fun. I think that helped me today,\u201d Switzer said.<\/p>\n<p>Other podium finishers include <strong>Zora Ripkova<\/strong> (100 fly, second, 54.22), <strong>Nicole Williams<\/strong> (200 breast, second, 2:15.25), <strong>Astrid Dirkzwager<\/strong> (200 back, second, 2:00.59), Dirkzwager (100 back, second, 55.83), <strong>Defne Ta\u00e7yildiz<\/strong> (1000 free, second, 10:00.84), Ta\u00e7yildiz (200 fly, second, 1:58.74), <strong>Arianna Sakellaris<\/strong> (500 free, second, 4:59.41), <strong>Sophie Murphy<\/strong> (100 free, second, 50.40), <strong>Duda Seifer<\/strong> (1000 free, third, 10:09.42), <strong>Sophie Murphy<\/strong> (50 free, third, 23.68), <strong>Carmen Woodruff<\/strong> (1-meter, third, 258.35), Ripkova (200 free, third, 1:47.94), Sabin (200 breast, third, 2:16.03), Burke (200 IM, third, 2:03.59) and Switzer (100 free, third, 50.48).<\/p>\n<p>Tech also had top three finishes in relay events with <strong>Jami<\/strong> <strong>Williams<\/strong>, Nicole Williams, Ripkova and Murphy placed second to the 200 medley relay while <strong>Emily<\/strong> <strong>Graham<\/strong>, Murphy, Ripkova and Switzer took second in
