{"id":496012,"date":"2022-01-26T10:40:59","date_gmt":"2022-01-26T17:40:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=496012"},"modified":"2022-01-26T10:40:59","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T17:40:59","slug":"asca-announces-2022-legends-of-texas-coaches-clinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/asca-announces-2022-legends-of-texas-coaches-clinic\/","title":{"rendered":"ASCA Announces  2022 Legends of Texas Coaches Clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>ASCA Announces 2022 Legends of Texas Coaches Clinic<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) is excited to announce the 2022 Legends of Texas Clinic will be held at the University of Texas at Austin April 8-10, 2022\u2026.and the speaker list truly lives up to the billing of Texas legends!<\/p>\n<p>The blockbuster line up of speakers includes:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 University of Texas Coaches <strong>Eddie Reese, Carol Capitani<\/strong> and <strong>Mitch Dalton<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Former UT Women\u2019s Coach and 4-time Olympian <strong>Jill Sterkel<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 USA Swimming executive and 3-time Olympian <strong>Brendan Hansen<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 ASCA Fitter and Faster Age Group Coach of the Year <strong>Colin Kennedy<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Strength and Conditioning Coach <strong>Charlie Hoolihan<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Leadership, Strategic Planning and Organizational Advisor <strong>Renata Pellino-Porter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The renowned annual ASCA clinic this year will offer an opportunity for participants to observe both University of Texas men\u2019s and women\u2019s practices on Friday, as well as in pool demonstrations with athletes led by the UT coaches on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The practices and pool sessions will take place at the Lee &amp; Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
