\nI’m afraid the latest word is very bad. Doctors performed an EEG this afternoon and it came back “flatline.” What this means is that this test showed no brain activity. While this test isn’t conclusive and could be the result of the high quantity of sedatives that Jim has received, it is not encouraging. The medical strategy is now to reduce the sedatives and to do another EEG tomorrow. <\/p>\n
