Cal\u2019s Isabel Ivey, Destin Lasco Named Pac 12 Swimmers of the Month for December<\/strong><\/p>\n

The University of California\u2019s Isabel Ivey<\/strong> and Destin Lasco<\/strong> were named the Pac 12 men\u2019s<\/a> and women\u2019s swimmers of the month for December<\/a>, the conference announced Friday.<\/p>\n

Utah\u2019s Lexi Mills<\/strong> is the women\u2019s diver of the month. No male diver of the month was named.<\/p>\n

Ivey had a huge meet at the Minnesota Invitational<\/a>. She won the 200 freestyle and 200 individual medley at the meet and holds top-three times in the nation in both events. She went 1:43.13 in the 200 free and 1:53.90 in the IM. The senior was also second in the 100 free. Ivey helped the Golden Bears post NCAA A cuts in all five relays, each finishing in the top three in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

UCLA\u2019s Claire Grover<\/strong> and Utah\u2019s Emma Lawless<\/strong> were also nominated for the women\u2019s award.<\/p>\n
