The Tampa, Fla., native placed first in the 1,000 freestyle with a mark of 9:14.15 and touched second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:30.76.<\/p>\n<p>Foley led the Duke women&#8217;s team in the meet against No. 6 Tennessee and top-ranked Division II side Queens. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., she placed first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:13.33 and second in the 100 breaststroke, touching in 1:02.25. She finished second in the 200 individual medley in 2:01.36. Foley also was a member of Duke&#8217;s 200 medley relay team that placed second in the meet (1:39.61).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college news<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/goduke.com\/news\/2022\/1\/11\/swimming-diving-driscoll-foley-named-acc-swimmers-of-the-week.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">honors<\/a> are each of their firsts of the season but become the seventh and eighth Duke this year. Driscoll and Foley join <strong>Cole Reznick\u00a0<\/strong>(Swimmer of the Week Nov. 2),\u00a0<strong>Seamus Harding Jr.<\/strong>\u00a0(Diver of the Week Nov. 2),\u00a0<strong>Yixuan<\/strong> <strong>Chang<\/strong>\u00a0(Swimmer of the Week Nov. 2) and\u00a0<strong>Margo\u00a0O&#8217;Meara\u00a0<\/strong>(Diver of the Week Nov. 2, Nov. 9 and Nov. 23).<\/p>\n<p>Duke returns to action on Saturday as the Blue Devils travel to Raleigh, N.C. to compete against No. 2\/5 NC State.
