NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Virginia Tech has added a new commitment for the fall of 2022 from\u00a0Ethan Maloney\u00a0<\/strong>of Lebanon, New Jersey.<\/p>\n

He will arrive in Blacksburg as a member of the Hokies\u2019 Class of 2026 along with\u00a0Tanish Mathew<\/strong><\/a>, William Hayon<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Carl Bloebaum<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Landon Gentry<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Aiken Do<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mitchell<\/b>\u00a0Stroud<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am very proud and excited to announce that I will be pursuing my academic and athletic career at Virginia Tech! I wanted to thank my family, friends, and coaches for helping me through this crazy process! Can’t wait to be a HOKIE!!!!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Maloney does his club swimming with Bolles School Sharks and most recently earned bronze in the 100 breast at the Speedo Winter East Championships last month. Back in June, he earned seven best times at the Bolles Sharks TYR meet where he recorded three top-18 finishes.<\/p>\n
