It is a clear demonstration of support by the United States Government for WADA\u2019s global collaborative mission for doping-free sport.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My discussions with the Director of ONDCP, Dr. Rahul Gupta, on the occasion of WADA\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wada-ama.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=b1807e279506be6f85bf0da1c&amp;id=53164637d2&amp;e=7fe1459b44\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/wada-ama.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3Db1807e279506be6f85bf0da1c%26id%3D53164637d2%26e%3D7fe1459b44&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641573724642000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3HvwqQNoRcZuT_2NLAoZJV\">25 November<\/a>\u00a0Foundation Board meeting were very positive, as were Dr. Gupta\u2019s constructive interventions during the Board meeting itself.\u00a0I look forward to ongoing collaboration with the U.S. Government and all other Public Authorities around the world. Together with the Sport Movement, athletes and other stakeholders,\u00a0we will continue working towards providing\u00a0a\u00a0level playing field on which athletes worldwide can compete fairly and with confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At WADA\u2019s\u00a0Foundation Board\u00a0meeting, members\u00a0unanimously\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wada-ama.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=b1807e279506be6f85bf0da1c&amp;id=8606589fa0&amp;e=7fe1459b44\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/wada-ama.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3Db1807e279506be6f85bf0da1c%26id%3D8606589fa0%26e%3D7fe1459b44&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641573724642000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1Gai1kw8_hyba_tAo1HBmq\">approved<\/a>\u00a0the latest raft of wide-ranging reforms to WADA\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wada-ama.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=b1807e279506be6f85bf0da1c&amp;id=e5bf624fa2&amp;e=7fe1459b44\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/wada-ama.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3Db1807e279506be6f85bf0da1c%26id%3De5bf624fa2%26e%3D7fe1459b44&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641573724642000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0PknlB3b8tUdmjY-00ccsW\">governance<\/a>\u00a0structure, providing increased representation for athletes and National Anti-Doping Organizations, and greater independence. The Board also approved a Code of Ethics and the creation of an independent Ethics Board.<\/p>\n<p>WADA is composed and funded by the Sport Movement and Governments of the world. For 2021, WADA\u2019s total budget was USD 43.4 million.
