less than two seconds off the meet record in the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katharine Berkoff<\/strong> (24.43), <strong>Torri Huske<\/strong> (24.44), <strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong> (23.39) and<strong> Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> (23.62) touched the wall in 1:35.88 to hold off the field by four tenths.<\/p>\n<p>The Netherlands took the second seed with <strong>Kim Busch<\/strong> (24.30), <strong>Marrit Steenbergen<\/strong> (24.16),<strong> Tessa Giele<\/strong> (23.95) and <strong>Maaike de Waard<\/strong> (23.86) finishing in 1:26.27.<\/p>\n<p>The third seed went to Sweden with<strong> Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> (23.50),<strong> Michelle Coleman<\/strong> (23.98),<strong> Sara Junevik<\/strong> (24.31) and <strong>Hanna<\/strong> <strong>Rosvall<\/strong> (24.76) \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men\u2019s 200 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Shaine Casas<\/strong> of the U.S. put together a strong swim to take the top spot in the 200 backstroke. Casas, who already has a world title under his belt, touched the wall in 1:49.82.<\/p>\n<p>He started strong at 25.04 and was able to hold off the field by nearly seven tenths of a second.<\/p>\n<p>Czech Republic\u2019s J<strong>an Cejka<\/strong> took the second spot in 1:50.50, ahead of France\u2019s <strong>Yohann Ndoye-Brouard<\/strong> (1:50.71) and Germany\u2019s <strong>Christian Diener<\/strong> (1:51.06).<\/p>\n<p>Casas is about three seconds off the meet record (1:46.68, <strong>Ryan Lochte<\/strong>, 2010) with his prelims time and four away from after closing with a 35.40 split to hang on by three quarters of a second.<\/p>\n<p>Sweden\u2019s <strong>Sophie Hansson<\/strong> took the second seeding 2:20.31 and looks to be in striking distance, along with Great Britain\u2019s <strong>Molly Renshaw<\/strong> (2:20.33), who was just two hundredths behind Hansson.<\/p>\n<p>Italy\u2019s<strong> Francesca Fangio<\/strong> took the fourth seed (2:20.53), followed by USA\u2019S<strong> Emily Escobedo<\/strong> (2:31.30) and Canada\u2019s <strong>Tessa<\/strong> <strong>Cieplucha<\/strong> (2:21.35).<\/p>\n<p>Ireland\u2019s<strong> Mona medley relay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pavel Samusenko<\/strong> (50.48), <strong>Alexander Zhigalov<\/strong> (57.74), <strong>Roman Shevilkov<\/strong> (50.70) and <strong>Vladislav Grinev<\/strong> (46.09) came together to finish in 3:25.01. The time is six seconds off the meet record.<\/p>\n<p>Italy took the second seed with <strong>Thomas Ceccon<\/strong> (50.96), <strong>Nicolo Martinenghi<\/strong> (56.90), <strong>Alberto Razzetti<\/strong> (50.48) and <strong>Lorenzo Zazzeri<\/strong> (47.24) finishing in 3:25.58.<\/p>\n<p>USA was third with <strong>Hunter Tapp<\/strong> (52.52),<strong> Will Licon<\/strong> (57.40),
