Sweden\u2019s <strong>Louise Hansson<\/strong> took the second seed in 26.27, followed by a third-place tie between Toussaint and Canada\u2019s <strong>Kylie Masse<\/strong> (26.30).<\/p>\n<p>Another tie was next for the fifth seed with <strong>Maaike de Waard<\/strong> of the Netherlands and France\u2019s <strong>Analia Pigree<\/strong> (26.39).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" start and took the top seed in the 50 fly, touching the wall in 22.36.<\/p>\n<p>Carter was a half second behind the world record set by both Brazil\u2019s <strong>Nicholas Santos<\/strong> and Hungary\u2019s S<strong>zebasztian Szabo<\/strong>, who swam the race in 21.75.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nyls Korsantje<\/strong> of the Netherlands took the second seed in 22.40 ahead of Szabo (22.42).<\/p>\n<p>Canada\u2019s <strong>Joshua Liendo Edwards<\/strong> and Switzerland\u2019s <strong>Noe Ponti<\/strong> tied for the fourth seed in 22.52.<\/p>\n<p>Santos took the ninth seed in meters and hung on to take the top seed in the 400 freestyle. Bingjie touched the wall in 4:01.26 to hold off Russian Swimming Federation\u2019s <strong>Anastasiia Kirpichnikova<\/strong> (4:01.35).<\/p>\n<p>Canada\u2019s <strong>Summer McIntosh<\/strong> took the third seed in 4:01.82, ahead of Hong Kong\u2019s <strong>Siobhan Haughey<\/strong>, who has already won the 100 and 200 freestyle events, including a world record in the 200. Haughey touched the wall in 4:02.57 and could make a run for another world title in finals.<\/p>\n<p>Russian Swimming Federation\u2019s <strong>Anna Egorova<\/strong> took the fifth spot in 4:02.66, year by taking the top seed in the 100 breaststroke, touching the wall in 1:04.50.<\/p>\n<p>Hansson was just behind Ireland\u2019s <strong>Mona McSharry<\/strong> after 50 meters but swam a 34 flat back half to earn the top seed.<\/p>\n<p>McSharry took the second spot in 1:04.59, just nine hundredths back, and two tenths ahead of Jamaica\u2019s<strong> Alia Atkinson<\/strong> (1:04.88).<\/p>\n<p>China\u2019s <strong>Tang Qianting<\/strong> took the fourth seed (1:04.94) ahead of Great Britain\u2019s <strong>Molly Renshaw<\/strong> (1:05.03).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
