Heilman went 1:43.97, a drop of more than two seconds off his seed time, in the morning prelims session at the Speedo Winter Junior Championships East Meet in Greensboro, N.C.. He turned tied for second at the 150-yard wall, but used a split of 26.68 to rally to the win. Second was <strong>Carl Bloebaum<\/strong> in 1:42.94. Third place went to Bloebaum\u2019s Mason Manta Rays teammate <strong>Gibson Holmes<\/strong> in 1:42.95.
