NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>NC State University has received another verbal commitment for the 2023-24 season from Olympic Trials qualifier\u00a0Mitchell Ledford\u00a0<\/strong>of Sebastian, Florida.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Sam Flack <\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Will Heck<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Raleigh as a member of the Wolfpack\u2019s Class of 2027.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my swimming and academic career at NC State University! I want to thank God for giving me these opportunities and all the support from my family, coaches and friends. GO PACK!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ledford trains year-round with Treasure Coast Swimming and placed ninth in the 100m fly at Wave I of Olympic Trials this past summer before going on to earn silver in that event at the Speedo Summer East Championships. He won the 200m fly at the ISCA International Senior Cup back in the spring and was the 100m fly runner-up at Southern Zone Sectionals.<\/p>\n
