I have dreamed of this day since I was a little girl in Taiwan. Words can&#8217;t describe how thankful I am for my family, coaches, and friends that have guided me through this process and pushed me to become the best version of myself. I would also like to thank everyone at UT for providing me with this amazing opportunity:)) I am SO excited to be a baby longhorn HOOK \u2018EM HORNS&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A versatile swimmer, Coe does her club swimming with Champaign County YMCA and earned several best times at the YMCA Virtual Swimming Festival in April where she won three events.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 free \u2013 23.28<\/li>\n<li>100 free \u2013 49.45<\/li>\n<li>200 free \u2013 1:49.49<\/li>\n<li>500 free \u2013 4:49.67<\/li>\n<li>100 back \u2013 55.33<\/li>\n<li>200 back \u2013 1:59.74<\/li>\n<li>100 breast \u2013 1:01.25<\/li>\n<li>200 breast \u2013 2:26.35<\/li>\n<li>100 fly \u2013 53.00<\/li>\n<li>200 fly \u2013 2:00.90<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 1:59.18<\/li>\n<li>400 IM \u2013 4:20.46<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at Charleston High School, Coe recently earned bronze in both the 100 fly and 200 IM at the 2021 Illinois State Championships. HOOK \u2018EM HORNS&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Kern, who does her club swimming with Aquajets Swim Team, placed ninth in the 100m back at the Speedo Summer West Championships after winning that event at Minnesota LCM Seniors. She also raced that event at Wave 1 of Olympic Trials in Omaha.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 back \u2013 25.07<\/li>\n<li>100 back \u2013 53.40<\/li>\n<li>200 back \u2013 1:58.91<\/li>\n<li>100 fly \u2013 55.66<\/li>\n<li>50 free \u2013 23.26<\/li>\n<li>100 free \u2013 50.97<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 2:05.53<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also competing for Delano High School, Kern won the 100 fly and 100 back at the Minnesota Class 3 Sectional Championship as a sophomore.
