NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Notre Dame has received their second verbal commitment for the 2023-24 season from Olympic Trials qualifier Abby O’Sullivan\u00a0<\/strong>of Mission Viejo, California.<\/p>\n

She will join Meghan Christman<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>of Carmel, Indiana, as a member of the Fighting Irish’s Class of 2027.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Notre Dame. I am extremely grateful for the endless support I have received from my family, friends, teammates, and coaches during this process. GO IRISH #cantstoptheshamrock”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

O’Sullivan, who does her club swimming with Mission Viejo Nadadores, had four top-15 finishes at the Speedo Summer West Championships this past summer. Last winter, she raced three events at the Toyota U.S. Open and placed seventh in the 400m IM at the Richmond TYR Pro Swim Series.<\/p>\n
