Ohio State took second (2,283), followed by Virginia Tech (1,663.5), Notre Dame (1,515), Kentucky (1,222), Pitt (1,219), Cincinnati (700), Miami (158), Kenyon (23) and Navy (9.5).<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State\u2019s <strong>Amy Fulmer<\/strong> won the 100 freestyle in 48.09, finishing just ahead of Kentucky\u2019s <strong>Riley Gaines<\/strong> (48.43) and Ohio State teammate <strong>Katherine Zenick<\/strong> (48.57).<\/p>\n<p>Indiana\u2019s<strong> Brendan Burns<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 200 backstroke in 1:40.27, going 1-2 with <strong>Jacob Steele<\/strong> (1:40.95). <strong>Burns<\/strong> won the 200 butterfly in 1:41.74, ahead of Ohio State\u2019s <strong>Alex Quach<\/strong> (1:42.92). Kentucky\u2019s<strong> Sophie Sorenson<\/strong> won the 200 backstroke in 1:52.18, going 1-2 with <strong>Caitlin Brooks<\/strong> (1:53.07).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college news<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ohio State\u2019s <strong>Maya Geringer<\/strong> won the 1650 freestyle women\u2019s race in 16:06.02. Indiana\u2019s <strong>Michael Brinegar<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 1650 freestyle, finishing in 14:40.23. Gaines won the 200 butterfly later in the final session, touching the wall in 1:54.84 to hold off Navy\u2019s <strong>Sydney Harrington<\/strong> (1:55.37).<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State\u2019s<strong> Katherine Zenick, Teresa Ivan, Emily Crane<\/strong> and <strong>Amy Fulmer<\/strong> won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:14.35, holding off Indiana (3:14.99) and Kentucky (3:18.06). The Indiana women went 1-2-3 in the 200 breaststroke behind<strong> Brearna Crawford <\/strong>(2:08.40),<strong> Mackenzie Looze<\/strong> (2:08.64) and<strong> Noelle Peplowsk<\/strong>i (2:08.72), finishing ahead of Kentucky\u2019s <strong>Bailey Bonnett<\/strong> (2:09.24).<\/p>\n<p>Virginia Tech\u2019s<strong> Youssef Ramadan<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 100 freestyle in 42.32, holing off Ohio State\u2019s <strong>Ruslan Gazlev<\/strong> (42.66) and Indiana\u2019s <strong>Rafael Miroslaw<\/strong> (42.76). Notre Dame\u2019s <strong>Josh Bottelberghe<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 200 breaststroke (1:52.44), holding off Indiana\u2019s<strong> Josh Matheny<\/strong> (1:53.03).<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State\u2019s men\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ohiostatebuckeyes.com\/sports\/m-swim\/roster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">squad<\/a> won the 400 free relay as well. <strong>Hunter Armstrong, Sex Andreis, Alex Quach<\/strong> and <strong>Ruslan Gaziev<\/strong> won in 2:48.84.
