Toronto Titans\u2019 Blake Pieroni (Knee) Pulls Out of ISL Semifinals<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blake Pieroni<\/strong> won\u2019t be part of the Toronto Titans ISL playoffs campaign<\/a> after suffering a knee injury.<\/p>\n

Pieroni made the announcement Tuesday via Instagram<\/a>. He wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately as a result of getting back into lifting and going too hard too fast, I\u2019ve injured my knee and have had to withdraw from the ISL Semifinals. I\u2019ll be cheering for my team at home. Go Titans!\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pieroni won the 200 freestyle in ISL Match 1. He won the 100 free once last year as a member of the inaugural Titans team<\/a>. The Titans have won the men\u2019s 400 free relay and the mixed freestyle relay on two occasions each in 2021. Pieroni holds the 14th-fastest time in the men\u2019s 100 freestyle this season at 46.70 seconds. He\u2019s 15th in the 200 free (1:43.89).<\/p>\n
