NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Tennessee has landed one of the top recruits in the Class of 2023: U.S. National Junior Team member\u00a0Camille Spink\u00a0<\/strong>of Haymarket, Virginia.<\/p>\n

She will join Sophie Brison<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Lady Vols at the start of the 2023-24 season.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m absolutely THRILLED to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Tennessee!! I couldn\u2019t have done it without the support and guidance from all my family, friends, teammates, and coaches. I cannot wait to be a part of the Tennessee family and a Lady Vol! GO VOLS”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Spink trains with Nation’s Capital Swim Club and was selected to represent Team USA at the FINA World Cup stops in Berlin and Budapest this past October. She placed eighth in the 50m back in Budapest. At Wave II of Olympic Trials, she advanced to semifinals of the 50m free where she placed 17th overall.<\/p>\n

Spink also won the 100m free at Richmond Futures this past summer after posting five top-5 finishes at the PVC Senior Long Course Championships.<\/p>\n

She currently owns the fastest times in both the 50 free and 100 free in her class.<\/p>\n
