It\u2019s the first win over UCLA since the 2017-18 campaign.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/pac-12-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pac-12 Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Heimstead was part of both winning relays for the Wildcats, who won 10 of the 14 swimming events. She was quickest in the 200 butterfly in a time of 1:59.40 for a 1-2 with teammate <strong>Madeline Burt.<\/strong> She added the 100 fly title in 54.40, a race where the top four swimmers were separated by .30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Mortensen won the 200 freestyle in 1:49.12, a margin of more than two seconds to second place. She clocked in at 4:58.30 in the 500 free. Mortensen split 50.51 to bring home the winning 400 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>Joining Heimstead on the medley foursome was <strong>Aria Bernal,<\/strong> who won the 100 back ahead of teammate <strong>Felicity Passon.<\/strong> Passon would win the 200 back then lead off the 400 free relay. <strong>Jade Neser<\/strong> went from the medley relay win to a victory in the 100 breast. <strong>Grace Anderson<\/strong> was on both relays and tied for second in the 50 free behind teammate <strong>Chloe Clark<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rachel Rhee<\/strong> and <strong>Brooke Schaffer<\/strong> went 1-2 in the 100 free to lead UCLA. <strong>Bailey Herbert<\/strong> won the 200 breast after finishing second in the 100, and <strong>Ella Kirschke<\/strong> won the 200 individual medley.<\/p>\n<p>Rhee was also second in the 200 free. <strong>Paige Maceachern<\/strong> was second in both the 500 free and 1,000 free. <strong>Gabby Dang<\/strong> was second in the 100
