The final score of the women&#8217;s meet was 181-108, while the A&amp;M men won 180-114.<\/p>\n<p>For the Aggie women,\u00a0<strong>Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> took first place in the 100 back (55.49) and 500 free (4:54.92) after teammate <strong>Abby Grottle<\/strong> took the 1000 free-200 free double to begin the meet&#8217;s individual slate, with times of 10:02.58 in the 1000 and 1:50.46 in the 200.<\/p>\n<p>On the men&#8217;s side,\u00a0<strong>Trey Dickey<\/strong> won the 1000 free (9:17.72) and 500 free (4:29.95),\u00a0<strong>Jace Brown<\/strong> placed first in the 200 fly (1:49.22) and 100 fly (48.74), and\u00a0<strong>Anze Erzen<\/strong> had wins in the 200 back (1:46.98) and 400 IM (3:52.65).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2021-texas-aandm-vs-texas-christian-university-ncaa-college-2021-11-05.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Check out full results from the meet here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/12thman.com\/news\/2021\/11\/5\/womens-swimming-and-diving-maroon-white-dominate-tcu-181-108.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a> from the Texas A&amp;M women:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The No. 21 Texas A&amp;M women&#8217;s swimming &amp; diving team swept TCU, 181-108, in a dual meet at the Rec Center Natatorium Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Maroon &amp; White posted the fastest time in all 16 events, starting off the meet with the 200 medley relay of freshman <strong>Kaitlyn<\/strong> <strong>Owens<\/strong>, junior <strong>Andrea<\/strong> <strong>Perttula<\/strong>, sophomore <strong>Olivia Theall<\/strong> and sophomore <strong>Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> finishing with a time of 1:40.98.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore <strong>Abby Grottle<\/strong> and senior <strong>Mollie Wright<\/strong> were a one-two punch in the first distance event of the night, clocking in at 10:02.58 and 10:16.44, respectively. Grottle was back in the pool for the following event, swimming a season-best time in the 200 free at 1:50.46, good for another first-place finish.<\/p>\n<p>Despite not competing in her usual events, Stepanek still dominated, clocking the fastest time in the 100 back (55.49) and going the distance for the top finish in the 500 free (4:54.92). In the 100 breast, Perttula lowered her personal best with a time of 1:02.59.<\/p>\n<p>Senior <strong>Aimee Wilson<\/strong> set the standard on the springboards, scoring 363.08 on the 1-meter and 328.28 on the 3-meter to top off the night with a win. Wilson, along with senior <strong>Chloe Ceyanes<\/strong> and junior <strong>Alyssa Clairmont<\/strong> posted the top three scores on the board.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/12thman.com\/news\/2021\/11\/5\/mens-swimming-and-diving-no-16-aggies-beat-tcu-180-114.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a> from the Texas A&amp;M men:<\/p>\n<p>The No. 16 Aggies thrashed the TCU Horned Frogs, 180-114, Friday night inside the Rec Center Natatorium.<\/p>\n<p>The Maroon &amp; White kicked off the dominance in the 200 medley relay, where the team of <strong>Tyler<\/strong> <strong>Hulet<\/strong>, <strong>Andres<\/strong> <strong>Puente<\/strong>, <strong>Jace Brown<\/strong> and <strong>Kaloyan Bratanov<\/strong> posted a time of 1:30.67 to place first.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trey Dickey<\/strong> followed with a 9:17.72 to take the top spot in the 1000 free. Later in the meet, Dickey added another top finish in the 500 free with a time of 4:29.95.<\/p>\n<p>Bratanov tacked on an individual top finish as he and <strong>Jacob Schababerle<\/strong> finished 1-2 in the 200 free with times of 1:39.47 &amp; 1:40.16, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the 200 fly, the Aggies swept the top four spots with <strong>Jace Brown<\/strong> finishing atop the competition with a time of 1:49.22. <strong>Mark Schnippenkoetter<\/strong> clocked in at 1:51.16 and <strong>Munzy Kabbara<\/strong> touched the wall at 1:51.46 to round out the top-three in the event.<\/p>\n<p>The Aggie diving team dominated the 1-meter, posting the top five scores. <strong>Kurtis Mathews<\/strong> took first with a score of 435.00, while <strong>Kyle Sanchez<\/strong> followed in second with a score of 346.88.<\/p>\n<p>Mathews made it a pair of victories on the night, claiming the 3-meter as he posted a score of 431.93.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 free relay team of <strong>Clayton Bobo<\/strong>, Bratanov, <strong>Seth Reno<\/strong> and <strong>Collin Fuchs<\/strong> capped off the meet with a first-place finish to give the Aggies 15 top performances on the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Texas A&amp;M Takes Down Texas Christian University in College Station The Texas A&amp;M women and men easily defeated visiting Texas Christian in a Friday dual meet.
