NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Vanderbilt University has picked up another verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Junior National qualifier Jenna Ravarino<\/strong> of Concord, California.<\/p>\n

She will join Caroline Mercer<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>of Louisville, Kentucky, in Nashville as a member of the Commodores’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and swimming careers at Vanderbilt University. I am looking forward to being part of an outstanding swim program.\u00a0 Thank you to my family, coaches, friends and teammates for the endless support and help to get me where I am today.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented sprinter, Ravarino does her club swimming with Orinda Aquatics and most recently earned three best times at Roseville Sectionals where she finished 13th in the 50m free and 20th in the 100m free. She also placed fourth and sixth, respectively, in those events at the Arena Grand Challenge this past summer, too.<\/p>\n
