Thank you so much to my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for their endless support throughout this amazing process. I cannot wait to be part of this incredible program. ROLL TIDE!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A versatile swimmer, Blase trains with Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club and most recently competed at Huntsville Futures where she earned six best times and finished fourth in the 400m IM. She also had a strong showing at the Mizuno Atlanta Classic back in May, achieving lifetime bests in all of her events and finaling in four races.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:03.81<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:19.20<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:50.53<\/li>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:54.00<\/li>\n<li>1000 free &#8211; 10:08.37<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 56.71<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:01.03<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at Sequoyah High School, Blase is already a four-time individual Georgia 6A State Championship finalist. She won the 500 free and took third in the 200 free as a sophomore while taking third in both of those events during her freshman season.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, she broke the Cherokee County and Sequoyah High School record in the 100 back. Blase has also earned both NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts in the pool and in the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>The Crimson Tide is fresh off a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2021-a-year-of-historic-firsts-for-ncaa-womens-swimming-diving-top-five\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">historic<\/a>\u00a0season that included a fourth-place showing at the SEC Championships and a fifth-place finish at NCAAs.
