and fourth overall &#8211; there was no going through.<\/p>\n<p>So too Lamberti, who had a memorable 21st birthday as part of the 4&#215;50 medley relay that set a world record en-route to gold while also winning two individual silvers.<\/p>\n<p>However, it was <strong>Matteo Rivolta<\/strong> who progressed with Mora in 50.67 after Lamberti went\u00a0 50.86.<\/p>\n<h3>Kirpichnikova Destroys 1500 Field<\/h3>\n<p>Kirpichnikova dominated the 800 free in a national record and she completely took the longest race on the programme apart.<\/p>\n<p>Out in 28.42, her splits thereafter were metronomic from 30.51 to 31.20 throughout before a final 50 of 29.87 brought her home in a time that sliced a mighty 15.20secs from her previous Russian record of 15:41.88 set in December 2019.<\/p>\n<h4>All-Time<\/h4>\n<p>15:18.01: Sarah Kohler, 2019<\/p>\n<p>15:19.71: Mireia Belmonte, 2014<\/p>\n<p>15:22.68: Lauren Boyle, 2014<\/p>\n<p>15:26.08: Anastasia Kirpichnikova, 2021<\/p>\n<p>15:28.33: Lani Pallister, 2020<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old lapped Quadarella by the 1100m mark with the Italian next home in 15:49.39 ahead of teammate Martina Caramignoli (15:50.79).<\/p>\n<p>Merve Tuncel &#8211; who won the 400-800-1500 treble at the European Junior Championships &#8211; was next through in 15:51.44, one place ahead of Turkish teammate Deniz Ortan.<\/p>\n<h3>Pasynkhov &amp; Borodin Through In 200IM<\/h3>\n<p>Russia has a wealth of talent in this event here in Kazan with three of the top four swimmers after the heats.<\/p>\n<p>However, with the two-per-nation rule it meant that <strong>Daniil Pasynkhov<\/strong> &#8211; who headed the heats in 1:55.72 &#8211; and <strong>Ilya Borodin<\/strong> (1:55.82) progressed but Eduard Valiakhmetov missed out despite going 1:55.95 with 0.23 separating the trio.<\/p>\n<p>In among the Russians was <strong>Andreas Vazaios<\/strong> who qualified for Thursday&#8217;s semis with the second-fastest time in 1:55.77.<\/p>\n<p>Other names of note who progressed were Italian duo <strong>Thomas Ceccon<\/strong> and <strong>Alberto Razzetti<\/strong> and <strong>Hubert Kos, <\/strong>the long-course world junior record holder over 400IM.<\/p>\n<h3>Seemanova Heads 100 Free;
