NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Tennessee has received a verbal commitment for the 2023-24 season and beyond from Olympic Trials qualifier\u00a0Sophie Brison\u00a0<\/strong>of Alpharetta, Georgia.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m so excited to announce my commitment to swim and study at the University of Tennessee. I\u2019d like to thank my parents, coaches, family, and friends, for getting me to this point. Go Vols!!! ?”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Brison, who trains with Dynamo Swim Club, won the 200m back at Wave I of Olympic Trials to qualify for Wave II. The following week, she she finished 38th overall in Omaha.<\/p>\n

She more recently earned bronze in the 200m back at Huntsville Futures where she also took fourth in the 100m back. Brison, who was selected to the National Select Camp in 2019, also placed 14th in the 200m back at the Mizuno Atlanta Classic in May.<\/p>\n
