Sophomore <strong>Ethan Dang<\/strong> also had a strong showing and took the top spot in the 100 breast (55.56) and 200 breast (2:03.69).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leon MacAlister<\/strong> added a win in the 200 back (1:46.49). The trio of Minakov, Dang and MacAlister combined with <strong>Mason Gonzalez<\/strong> to take the top spot in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:28.22.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luke Maurer<\/strong> chipped in two individual wins, prevailing in the 200 freestyle (1:37.94) and the 500 free (4:34.92).<\/p>\n<p>Freshmen <strong>Matt Fenlon<\/strong> and <strong>Jack Ryan<\/strong> hit the ground running in their first competition for the Cardinal. Fenlon secured an individual win in the 200 butterfly (1:50.70) while Ryan claimed first place in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 325.05.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford is <a href=\"https:\/\/gostanford.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/schedule\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">back in action<\/a> on Nov. 5 at the Triple Distance Meet, hosted by California.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/stanford-vs-utah-men-day-1\/ncaa-college\/2021\/October\/15?rtn=%2Fresults%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Full Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2014 The above press release was posted by Swimming World in conjunction with Stanford University.
