PHOENIX, Arizona, January 30. THE Grand Canyon University’s women’s basketball team is celebrating women in sports tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. at GCU Arena when the Antelopes take on the Chicago State Cougars.<\/p>\n
Special Guest Olympic Gold Medalist and Phoenician Misty Hyman will be taking photos and signing autographs in front of the arena starting at 5:45 p.m., as well as leading a special half time presentation honoring the outstanding female student-athletes at GCU.<\/p>\n
Other pre-game tailgate festivities include live music, a free barbeque tailgate, GCU swag give-a-ways, and more! Tickets are free at the door.<\/p>\n
The GCU women’s basketball team enters the game with an overall record of 13-6, 2-4 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Antelopes have gone 6-0 at home this season are 31-4 all-time at GCU Arena.<\/p>\n
