The intrasquad competition, at least in recent years, has featured some quick times from a program that has captured 15 national titles.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, coach <strong>Eddie Reese<\/strong> boasts a roster that is formidable. Texas not only features standout veterans, but also a superb group of newcomers. Additionally, the Longhorns are returning a handful of graduate students who have taken advantage of the NCAA offering athletes an extra year of eligibility due to missed time from the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong> and <strong>Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> raced at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and will headline the freestyle and breaststroke contingents, along with bolstering relays. Meanwhile, Olympian <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> opted to take an extra year of eligibility and returns as one of the most-accomplished divers in the NCAA ranks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carson Foster<\/strong> and <strong>Jake Foster<\/strong>, a dynamic brother combination, offer support in a number of events, with Carson owning the top time in the world in the 400-meter individual medley. Competing at the Austin Sectionals, Foster clocked 4:08.46 in the 400 IM, an effort faster than the winning time at the Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>Also returning to the mix for the Longhorns are NCAA-scoring standouts <strong>Daniel Krueger<\/strong>, <strong>Alvin Jiang<\/strong> and <strong>David Johnston<\/strong>. Jiang is another athlete who opted to extend his collegiate career through the extension offered by the NCAA. <strong>Anthony Grimm<\/strong>, a multi-event performer, leads another excellent group of newcomers, with <strong>Cameron Auchinachie<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/texas-bolsters-sprint-contingent-with-transfer-of-speedster-cameron-auchinachie\/\"
