THE University of Virginia tamed the Pitt Panthers as the Cavalier men won 140-98 and women completed the sweep 141-97.  <\/p>\n<p>The Virginia men won 11 of 13 events in the meet.  Fran Crippen won the 500 and 1000 Free.   Ian Prichard won the 200 Free.  Luke Wagner and Michael Raab won the 200 Back and 200 Fly, respectively.  <\/p>\n<p>They also teamed with Jon Baird and Adam Kerpelman to win the 400 Medley Relay.  <\/p>\n<p>Luke Anderson captured the 50 Free and Guy Yimsomruay won the 200 IM.  Pete Amstutz set his second school record in as many weeks as he scored 329.10 points in the 3 meter diving event, breaking Derek Husmann&#39;s 10 year old record of 328.65.<\/p>\n<p>The men raised their record to 7-1, 4-0 in the ACC.  The women are 6-1, 3-1 in the ACC after their victory over Pitt.<\/p>\n<p>The women were led by hometown girl Kate Wrenshall who captured the 1000 Free and 200 Fly.  <\/p>\n<p>Virginia won the 400 Medley Relay with Brielle White, Elaine Bennett, Andrea Georoff, and Carlie Dykehouse.  White, Bennett, and Georoff also won an individual event &#8212; the 200 Back, 200 Breast, and 100 Free respectively.  <\/p>\n<p>Mirjana Bosevska won the 200 Free, while Amy Baly<br \/>\ncaptured the 200 IM.  Rachael Burke and Alison Sharp rounded out UVA&#39;s event winners with their victories in the 500 Free and 1 meter diving.<\/p>\n<p>The Hoos now turn their attention to their last dual meet of the season against Maryland.  Diving will be a bit different this weekend.  The divers will complete a full list of 11 dives on 3 meter Friday, Februay 7th at 6:30 p.m.  The divers will then compete in 1 meter on Saturday, February 8th at 12 noon.
