The five board additions were elected from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/asca-announces-six-candidates-for-board-of-directors-positions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a field of six candidates<\/a> fielded at the annual meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Koleber, the head coach of Nitro Swimming in Austin, Texas, will continue as president. Among the other <a href=\"https:\/\/swimmingcoach.org\/about\/board-directors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">board leadership positions<\/a>, <strong>Dave Gibson<\/strong> remains as vice present and <strong>Mike Murray<\/strong> as secretary. <strong>Jimmy Tierney<\/strong> has been elected treasurer, replacing <strong>Chad Onken,<\/strong> whose term ended in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Other board members whose terms ended in 2021 are <strong>Matt Kredich<\/strong> (an at-large member), <strong>David Marsh<\/strong> and <strong>Dave Salo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dorenkott has been at Ohio State for 14 years, the last five as the director of men\u2019s and women\u2019s swimming. He led the Buckeyes women\u2019s team to the Big Ten title in 2020-21 and has led both programs to top-3 finishes at Big Tens each of the last four seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Abdelaal coaches at Scarlet Aquatics in New Jersey. He\u2019s the former coach of St. Peter\u2019s College. Johnston is the head coach of the Water Rat Swim Team at the Westport Weston Family YMCA in Connecticut. Melina, a UCLA alum who swam for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/colin-kennedy-named-age-group-coach-of-the-year-at-asca-swim-clinic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021 ASCA Hall of Fame inductee<\/a> <strong>Cyndi Gallagher,<\/strong> is the head coach at Oregon\u2019s Lake Oswego Swim
